On June 24th we are marking Pentecost Monday, or Kataklysmos, which falls fifty days after Orthodox Easter.

Kataklysmos means The Festival of the Flood and it is a popular religious feast in Cyprus. This traditional celebration relates to the Book of Genesis, and Noah’s Ark and the flood that destroyed almost all living creatures.
