July brings the Film Festival in Protaras, one music festival in Nicosia, and another one in Limassol. Plus the Watermelon Festival in Frenaros. And watersport events plus music in the villages!
Fun Run – Salt Lake Route

Salt Lake Larnaca, at 08:00 AM
The Fun Run team is dedicated to uniting like-minded individuals, friends and family across every community in Cyprus that want to get active and stay healthy!
Registration only takes 2 minutes. The first event participation fee is only €5 and then every subsequent event is €3.
Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of age, ability or experience – whether you are actively working on your fitness, competing with your friends on the local scoreboard or simply want to try a fun social activity.

Softades Beach, Larnaca
This is the biggest contest of its kind on the island and it has reached its 8th edition already.
So, if you missed the one in Kapparis that was held on June 18, you can have some fun in Larnaca at the beginning of the July.
There are three cathegories to compete: long distance – 5 km, fun – 2km and sprint race – 300 m.
If you don’t practice the sport, I guess you can also just go and watch!

Loud Music Festival 2023

Protaras Film Festival
July 12-30
Protaras center
Two weeks and a half of movie in open air in the center or Protaras. Usually the projection will start after 9 o’clock in the evening and the entrance is free. We are still waiting for a program so we can choose our favorites movies.

Afrobanana Festival 2023
July 13 – 16
Dali Forest Glade, Nicosia
4 days of festival, of music, dance, workshops and nice food. You can even camp in the forest and just have fun!

Watermelon festival
July 14
Frenaros Village
If it is anything like the strawberry one, then it is worth to visit the festival! They say they will have free samples of watermelon and sweets made with it to try for those attending.
For sure there will be food and music and fun things to do for kids.

80s & 90s Reunion Beach Party vol.4
July 15
Divinus Beach bar Mackenzie, Larnaca, starting 20:00
I guess if you like the music from the ‘80s and the ‘90s, that is the party that you don’t want to miss this summer. It is free entry but you have to reserve your place to be sure you can be in the middle of the fun party there.

Windcraft Music Fest

Katydata village, Nicosia District
The line-up of Windcraft Music Fest 9 focuses on the collaboration between local and foreign artists, presenting both established groups and new projects involving Cypriot artists. Eight handpicked Cypriot and international bands featuring wind players, which combine jazz with world music, often enriching it with electronic sounds and beats, will be transforming the Orchard into a music stage for dreamy listening and frantic dancing, while the village streets will be filled with the sounds of wind and vocal ensembles.
