Soon we will have a new look for Larnaca old town. In maximum 2 years, we will hardly recognize the place. Some of the streets in the tourist area will suffer a total rehabilitation, and in the end, they will have a ”new modern look”. The buildings will not be touched, just the streets.
The cost of the investment is more than 3,5 million euros and the work will start at the beginning of 2024.
18 months of works = new look for Larnaca
By the autumn of 2025 we should have better-looking Larnaca streets, they say.
In case you want to check the area that will suffer this transformation, these are the names of the streets included in the project by the city council: Louki Akrita, Orfeos Gladstonos (a section of it), Ermou (a section of it), Konstantinou Kalogera (a section of it), and Gregori Afxentiou Avenue (a section of it).
