Winter Swimmer Fest takes place this Sunday, January 21, in Ayia Napa. So, prepare your swimsuit or better your wetsuit, and your goggles and come have some fun at Makronissos beach.
The event starts at 10:00 in the morning, and you will get the chance to see the deputy tourism minister Costas Koumis. Just in case you want to thank him or tell him about your complaints. 😁
There is no need to register in advance for the event. You can do it Sunday morning, between 10:15-10:45.
Then, starting at 11:00, it will be time to go swimming in the water that supposedly has 18.8 degrees C. More or less the same as the air temperature.
The event is organized by the Ayia Napa Winter Swimmers Club, an organization created one year ago.
