BLUE LAGOON PAPHOS – THE BEST MEDITERRANEAN BLUE!

The Blue Lagoon is the must see place in Paphos! With the shared boat or a rented one, you must see the most beautiful water of the Mediterranean! The Blue Lagoon in Paphos has the most beautiful water in the Mediterranean. It’s a gorgeous blue, it’s clear, it’s not very difficult to reachle and it should be put on the must visit list in Cyprus. It’s true that I personally only visited the Blue Lagoon in Cyprus, but that’s what others who have walked on the shores of this sea say, so I believe them.

KYKKOS – THE FAMOUS MONASTERY OF CYPRUS

The most famous monastery in Cyprus is in the heart of the mountains, not even 30 km from the Troodos Square. The access road is in very good condition and even spectacular in places. The nearly 1,000-year history of the place of worship is a tumultuous one. But here you will find an icon that, if it were to be discovered, is said to blind anyone who looks at it.

OTHELLOS’S CASTEL FROM CYPRUS

We have a medieval castle and a well-known story – Shakespeare’s Othello. The castle was renovated in 2014-2015 and it is worth visiting when you go to the old city of Famagusta from Katehomena (the part of Cyprus occupied by the Turks). The castle is on the left side of the wall that defends the fortress from “attackers from the sea”. OK, now it’s the wall that protects the port from prying eyes…

NISSI BEACH – LET THE FUN BEGIN!

The center of fun in Ayia Napa during the day is at Nissi Beach. Beach bars with loud music and DJs that maintain the atmosphere are sought after by young locals and especially by tourists who come to the island specifically for the “madness” here. Here you will find people of all ages who want to enjoy the clear and warm sea. And especially walking through the water knee-deep to the island.
