The sea with the smell of pine forest. The color of the Mediterranean is a dream. Yachts moored in the bay. Happy people. Summarized in just two words – Konnos Bay!
***
Konnos is on the border between Ayia Napa and Protaras, in the Cape Greco area, on the island’s eastern side. And is definitely at the top of the most beautiful places in Cyprus.
It is sought after by locals and is on the “must-visit” route of tourists. If you want to enjoy the place, I recommend you to visit it during the week, when it’s not that busy.
The only minus that I have to mention is the access road – a road on which two cars can hardly fit, and parking spaces … you have to be inventive and you will find them. It is important not to forget to stay on the left side of the road!

The good part is that if you have accommodation in Ayia Napa – Protaras, you can also come by bus, even if you have to walk a good few minutes down to the beach. If you don’t have enough water with you, there is a beach bar/restaurant, but don’t expect to find supermarket prices there.
The view from Konnos, the quality of the water and the possibility of seeing turtles if you do a bit of snorkeling are well worth a visit here.
