Today I want to take you to a small beach, near Pernera harbot, with a nice view of the chapel on the seashore. And if you get hungry, one of the best fish restaurants on the island is only a few steps away.

Now, I don’t know if the beach got its name from the restaurant in the area – the fish place I mentioned – or the other way oround. The fact is that it is very beautiful here. That is unless you’re looking for a perfect entrance to the sea, because you won’t find it here.
But if you want to see some turtles, you’re in the right place. There is grass in the sea and the locals told me that there are also beautiful turtles in the area.
The Chapel of St. Nicholas is very popular during the summer for weddings.
And if you want a boat trip, nothing could be easier because the port is right next to the beach.

If you want to stay in the area, there are about four hotels very close to the beach, two of which are in very good conditions. The rest let’s say they are decent.
What else can you find in the area?
On the main street of Pernera you will find other restaurants and pubs, and if you want something more, you have a bus or taxi to get you to Protaras or Ayia Napa.
If you like spare ribs – don’t miss taking them to Knights Pub, if you want something more elevated, you can try Cultura del Gusto.
Otherwise, pub food of your choice in the area. Oh, and if you want maximum fun, you have Nava club, where the madness lasts until after midnight and is more sought after by Cypriots.
If ypu have strong legs, in the evening, after the sun sets, you can even walk to Protaras on the promenade by the sea. It’s lit, you can find about 3 restaurants on the way, plus the whole route is beautiful.
If you still end up there, grab some food for the island’s cats, who will surely be waiting for you eager for a little snack.
