If you travel by bus it might not be faster, it might not be easy when you have big luggage, but for sure it is a lot cheaper than traveling by taxi.
4 euros per person to get to Ayia Napa
That is a bargain.
The first bus leaves from the airport to Larnaca at 6:30 in the morning and the last one, at 12 in the night.
And there is a bus once every half an hour.

Once you land and you’re out of the area where you’re picking up your luggage, find the stairs or the elevator and go to the first floor.
When you exit the airport building, on the left side, you will find the sign for the bus stop. If you can’t manage, ask someone who works in the airport. For sure they will know to guide you.
From that bus stop you need to take bus 425 that will take you to Larnaca, to Finikoudes big stop.
Be sure you have some cash with you, small bills, to pay for your 2,5 euros ticket.
Also, have in mind that the last bus for Ayia Napa will leave from Finikoudes, Larnaca, a 09:00 PM.
711 or Intercity Buses
The easiest way now o travel to Ayia Napa or Protaras is you just wait on the bus stop for an Intercity Bus. The price for one ticket is 4 euros.
The other solution you have is to walk to another bus stop, a few hundred meters away, after the Police Station, and take bus 711 operated by OSEA.
The price for a ticket on this one is just 1,5 euros.
Both buses will take you to Ayia Napa/Protaras area.
