Mediterranean Folklore Dance Festival

Finikoudes, Larnaca
Larnaca’s seafront and old town will fill with festivities and colour as performances and parades take place.
800 dancers, musicians, artists and singers will participate in this festival that is a grand celebration of traditions from around the world.
This year, groups from mainland Greece, Rhodes, Nisyros, Albania, Costa Rica, Egypt, Latvia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Pontus, Georgia and Armenia will present exquisite shows as well as 16 groups from Cyprus: seven choirs, four bands, and two majorette teams.

International Potato Festival

Festivities will begin at 7:00 p.m. with parades on the streets of the village. There will be live music with the famous singer Glykeria.
Like all the festivals, there will be food and drinks and things to entertain the kids.

The event takes place at the elementary school from the village, starting 5 pm. There will be food and music, and you can find out some of the Cypriot cuisine secrets from chef Christos Tomashi and baker Agapi Ioannou.
There is a 15 euros entrance fee which will get you a kleftiko meal.
