Cyprus Christmas Villages are opening their gates!

Cyprus Christmas Villages

Cyprus Christmas Villages are ready to welcome you for the next 7 weeks. We have music, good food, Christmas Trees and lights, Santa Clause ready to take a picture with you, and happy children and adults at the same time.

The Christmas magic starts on Saturday, November 25, and will last until January 14.

Last year, I visited the one in Deryneia. It is pointless to say that it is just a few minutes walk from home. But I wasn’t expecting to have such a good time.

Of course, next to the Christmas Tree, we had the famous strawberry, but it only made us feel even better.

For those who don’t know, this village is famous for the strawberries made here every year.

This years Cyprus Christmas villages are in:

Agros, Kalopanagiotis, Kyperounta, and Leftkara. All are mountain villages, and all are famous and visited during all year by locals and tourists.

Deryneia is a small village, at the border with the occupied teritories of Famagusta. It is just a few kilometers away from the tourist area of Ayia Napa and Protaras.

Also, on this list is Laiki Geitonia, which is actually the old town of Nicosia.

The entrance is free and the best time to visit if you want to feel the spirit is during weekend time.

You will be able to try traditional Cyprus food and sweets, so be sure you bring your wallet with you!
