Carnival time in Cyprus. Costumes are ready, music is prepared, we only hope for nice weather. We have two weekends ahead with parades in all the cities on the island.
Then we will celebrate the carnivals and then we will finish with Green Monday.
That will be the beginning of Lent before Orthodox Easter. On March 18th we will eat anything but meat and we will fly the kites.
Dates of the Carnival

All the action will start at 13:00, but don’t hurry up to go home when it is done because the final party will be at 21:00, at the Old Port Square. Here we will have the Outdoor Carnival Dance, free entry for all those who want to have fun.
The last parade of the year starts at 14:00 in Paralimni center. It might be a small place, but the parades here can be fun also.
In the week before the parades in all the cities, you will find parties in pubs and restaurants that you can attend.
